The man who attacked George Harrison and his wife at their England home, Michael Abram, 34, was aqcuitted of attempted murder by reason of insanity. Abram broke in to Harrison's home and stabbed him repeatedly, puncturing one of his lungs. He also attacked George's wife, Olivia, when she tried to defend him. Abram believed himself possessed by Paul McCartney. He was ordered confined to a mental hospital indefinately.

The Beatles Anthology is number four on the New York Times Bestseller List this week, down from number 2 last week, it's 14th week on the list.

Thanks to"The Beatles 1," the fabs were pop music's top earners for the year 2000, reports Reuters.

John Lennon earned a Best Long Form Video Grammy award nomination for "Gimme Some Truth-- The Making of John Lennon's Imagine Album." Paul McCartney's "Liverpool Sound Collage" was also nominated for Best Alternative Music Album. The Grammy Awards will air on CBS, February 21, at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT.
